The Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship is a 24-months program offering training and development to individuals looking to start a career in data analytics.

Minimum requirements

University Graduate in any degree.

Basic knowledge of working with computers
Knowledge of tools such as Excel, Gmail, Word
Less than 1 year of experience.

Preferred requirements

Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team framework

Willingness to navigate ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions and seek help/advice where appropriate
Excellent problem solving capabilities
Experience thinking critically and problem solving.

Role Description (and additional job description)

In this role, you will develop the skills you need to become a data analyst and get paid in the process. Google aim to build a pipeline for the next generation of data analysts across the industry, actively bridging the gap between technical employment and education. You will develop working knowledge of essential data analysis skills and have practice using platforms such as spreadsheets, SQL, Tableau and R programming. With this knowledge, you will gain a deep understanding of when to use these skills within the data lifecycle and how this translates to different business units solving issues with data. You will deliver on customer business objectives by helping improve the way they measure impact, attribute value and act on Google media recommendations.

While at Google, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of Google to solve real life problems while developing and learning from world-class leaders. An external training partner will also support you during the program.

Google will equip you with everything you need to know to make a meaningful impact as a Data Analytics apprentice at Google. You will be mentored and trained in a wide range of tools & techniques, distilling down data for actionable takeaways and making recommendations across different business groups. Your work will stand alongside that of other Google analysts, making a real differences to users around the world.
